WebP
A web format doing both lossy and lossless with transparency, typically 25-35% smaller than JPEG.
It depends on the settings. WEBP has both a lossy and a lossless mode, and the quality control on this page decides which one you get.
Not here. We can read WEBP but no engine of ours writes SVG, so this conversion only goes one way.
You can set the quality, how long to spend, whether to keep EXIF, the width and height, whether to enlarge, and whether to keep every pixel. Anything left on Auto is decided by the encoder, which is usually the right answer unless you are targeting a specific size or device.
In this tab. SVG to WEBP is something the browser can already do, so the file never leaves your machine and the page keeps working offline.
Yes — there is a per-file cap and an hourly job limit, because this runs on one small server. The API page states the limits currently in force rather than a number baked into this page.
